Barn Door

My first private art lessons were for water color. I studied with a master water colorist in my home town starting at the age of 11. I don't have many examples of work I did around that time but looking through some old photographs, I found the above examples. The painting 101st is a portrait of my dad Dennis Tomlinson from when he was a paratrooper. That was done in acrylic. The Barn Door piece was done with pencil. You can probably tell that my style has changed a lot since I was a kid.
